Reno Bike Valet is a secure, attended parking and storage service for bicycles and other micromobility options, such as scooters, operated by the Truckee Meadows Bicycle Alliance.
Similar to a coat check service, Reno Bike Valet provides a safe, convenient, and free way for individuals, families, and groups to store their ride while enjoying an event or visiting a location.
Studies have shown that a lack of secure bicycle parking/storage at a destination can deter potential riders from considering a bike for transportation and may result in them skipping an event or location entirely.
Reno Bike Valet removes this as a barrier to encourage more people to use a bicycle as a form of transport and attend an event, including those who don’t have access to a bicycle lock.

We calculate rates for each event based on the expected volume of bicycles, location, and staff requirements.

As a Reno Bike Valet volunteer, you can assist with the setup and breakdown of the valet station and assist for the entire duration of an event, or choose to drop by for as little as a half hour to allow our attendants to take a break.
